Fall-time Festival Brings Excitement!

Covered Bridge Festival in Mansfield, Indiana

There’s a crisp breeze blowing by. Leaves are crunching under your feet. All around you the trees are full of beautiful red, orange, and yellow colors. So many delicious smells fill the air. You feel the heat of Summer slipping away but how can you not love the approach of Autumn? What better way to celebrate this fun season than by attending one last festival? On October 17th we will be visiting the Covered Bridge Festival in Mansfield, Indiana. If you have never gone before, you are in for a big treat!

Deemed as the busiest attraction during the festival, Mansfield is home to a beautiful covered bridge that crosses over Big Raccoon Creek. Thousands gather every year to visit this shopping mecca to purchase anything from homemade crafts to t-shirts.  A covered food court, free live entertainment and gorgeous fall foliage make this day very enjoyable.  Mansfield is the largest and busiest place for the festival, so we will spend all our time here so you can enjoy everything that Mansfield has to offer. We will provide package drop off for your convenience.

Familiar Festival Atmosphere

The Covered Bridge Festival has everything we know and love about festivals. Crafters, antique vendors, entertainment and great food are all expected from a great festival and The Covered Bridge Festival does not disappoint. This is the largest festival in Indiana and runs for a full 10 days. Fun for the whole family, this festival is packed full of activities to generate excitement and interest. Enjoy live music, buy a funnel cake, and explore the numerous vendor tents with us on October 17th.

Unique Parke County Setting

What makes the Covered Bridge Festival so special is the rich history surrounding it. Parke County has 31 historic covered bridges and they really are the main attraction. The Mansfield Roller Mill and the Mansfield Covered Bridge are both historic attractions that are still in use today! Believe it or not this festival attracts thousands of people every year and part of the reason is because of the nostalgic feeling this area brings.
